Co-led by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Entrepreneurship Incubator, Bonjour Group (Hong Kong), Pearl River Economic Radio, and Hong Kong 3861 Group, the initiative officially launched on April 27, 2020. It has brought together a consortium consisting of 12 renowned universities and research institutions (including South China University of Technology and South China Normal University), over 230 enterprises and merchants from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, media and brand promotion platforms, investment and financial service institutions, as well as individual KOLs.
The base aims to deeply integrate supply chain resources, talent resources, media platform resources and brand resources of the Greater Bay Area, explore innovative business models, boost the high-quality economic development of the region, and facilitate the sustainable development of innovation and entrepreneurship among young people in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
Four major live streaming studios were launched simultaneously in Guangzhou and Hong Kong, drawing over 100 on-site participants and attracting more than 1.5 million real-time viewers. The live events were broadcast synchronously across platforms including Yiyijian, Kuaishou, Douyin, Facebook, Yizhibo and Bilibili, achieving a cumulative view count of over 15 million. The initiative garnered attention from more than 30 media outlets and was covered by the official website of the People's Republic of China Government, the People's Political Consultative Conference Network and Xinhua News Network.
