Fitting the Cartridge:

Unscrew the Sump from the Base. Remove cartridge from its protective Sleeve and plant it on to the base with the hole end. Do not over tighten. Screw the threaded sump into the Base. Hand tighten only.

Conditioning the Filter:

The Filter unit should now be ready for first filling with water. Turn on the cold tap partially then pull the knob on the diverter valve outwards to allow water to slowly fill the unit. Allow the water to run to waste for a minimum of 5 minutes or 20 litres, allow the filter to stand to 8 hours to condition the filter to the source water and then flush a further 3 litres of water to waste. After carrying out this procedure the filter is now ready for use.
